On June 17, one tori tok say Senate President Ahmad Lawan don comot from All Progressives Congress (APC). 

Some tweets bin claim say di senate president don comot di ruling APC go join Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Mustapha Kehinde, di pesin wey tweet di post say,” Ahmad Lawan leave APC go PDP because im still wan dey NASS, no be because im wan help im people. E suppose show you say na only money dey dia mind.”

Di tweet get at least 1,448 retweets and 4,508 likes.

One ogbonge Twitter handle wey dey normally post entertainment gist, @GoldMyneTV, follow carry di tori wey say Lawan comot for APC. Di account get pass50,000 followers.

Wetin hapun before

Abdullahi Adamu, di national chairman for APC bin talk say Lawan na di consensus presidential candidate of di party.

He come later contest for di primary election, but na three people beat am. Lawan carry fourth as he gather  152 votes.

Di senate president lose to Bola Tinubu, former govnor for Lagos, who bin get 1,271 votes.

On Saturday, Ola Awoniyi, Lawan special adviser ontop media mata, share statement wey say di news no correct.

For June 14plenary, di senate president tok say two Kebbi senators don comot for di party.

Yahaya Abdullahi, senator wey dey represent Kebbi North, and Adamu Aliero, senator wey come from Kebbi Central, bin send letters wey tok say dem don comot APC go PDP.

Awoniyi tok say, “Na di video clip wey di senate president dey read Senator Aliero letter na im pipu go touch make e forbe like say na Lawan leave party.”

He come tok say di original video wey Lawan dey read Aliero letter na 3 minutes 30 seconds. But pipu wey wan cause wahala cut am go 26 seconds.
