One video wey comot for social media claim say gunmen bin attack one celestial church for 0wo, Ondo state.

Florence Omojesu, one Tiktok user, wey post di video one day after gunmen dem attack di catholic church for the same Owo, write say “My heart dey bleed, even yesterday for Owo, gunmen attack celestial church.”

Di video comot for social media after plenti pipu wey go church die for di Owo attack on Sunday, June 5. 

Ebenezer Anu, wey post anoda tik tok video wey show di Celestial church write say, “Na anoda Fulani attack for celestial church for Akure be dis.” Pipu share am for Whatsapp.

Di 13 second video show one building wey dem paint for white and blue. E still come show women and children wey wear long white gown and cap. 

For di video, one woman wey carry her pikin for waist still hold anoda pikin for hand, just dey run so dem fit hide. 

Na so for background one woman come dey shout for Yoruba say, “We no fit go house o, where we wan hide? Jesus!” Evriwhere just dey scata scata.

For Facebook, di video get pass8,100 views. Dem even post am for Twitter too.

 

Wetin hapun before

On Sunday, June 5, gunmen bin attack St. Francis Catholic Church for Owo LGA, Ondo state.

Plenti pipu die for di accident. Some bin get wound. 

Even children follow die for di pipu wey dem kill for church that day. 

On June 17, dem do one big burial for all di 40 pipu wey die.

 

Wetin we check

TheCable call Fumilayo Odunlami, police public relations officer for Ondo state, to check if true say gunmen attack di Celestial church.

She tok say, “Di Ondo state police command no know about any attack for any celestial church for Owo.”

Our pipu wey dey check if tori true come check di social media of all di Celestial church for Owo. We come follow di pipu wey dey lead both Parish 1 and 2 tok, dem tell us say na for Celestial Church of Christ, Parish 2 dat video comot from. 

But say notin bin hapun.

According to Joseph Oluwasegun, di shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ, Owo, Parish 2, he tok say, “As dem hear di gunshot from St. Francis Catholic Church on Sunday, June 5, 2022, no be small fear catch di church members. Na why dem just dey run evriwhere for dat video.”

Before dem hear di gunshots, dem bin dey celebrate Juvenile Harvest Celebration across all di Celestial churches for di world. He confam say gunmen no attack di church, say all di church members dey okay.
