One video wey dey waka for social media dey allegedly show as bandits dey share bundles of moni for Nigeria.

For di nearly two-minute video, one woman dey criticise Nigerian leaders ontop sey dem dey allegedly enable di mata.

“Nigeria don finish,” na so di woman tok.

“Who be di pipu wey dey sponsor these bandits?”

Di woman also claim sey di bandits dey enjoy rights pass oda citizens, wey dey allow dem commit crime without consequences.

“Nigerian govment, wetin dey hapun? Tinubu govment wetin dey hapun?” na so she ask.

Di video waka wella for WhatsApp.

CableCheck see sey di folo comot for YouTube on May 2.

“Where be dis?” na so di social media user ask.

Most of di 23 comments suggest Nigeria and dem ask weda Department of State Services (DSS) sabi wetin dey hapun.

So far, di video don gada 3,772 views and 55 likes.

For separate Instagram post on May 5, Olamisharp, one Nigerian blogger, post di video, come criticise di govment for dia slow action.

“Na di kontri wey oppressors dey show diasef be dis…” na so im write for di video for im 22.4k followers.

Di video don gada pass 600 views.

But na for Nigeria dem bin record di video?

WETIN WE CHECK

CableCheck analysed plenti screenshots of di viral clip using reverse image search and we find one earlier version wey bin dey Facebook on December 16, 2024.

For di video, one male narrator dey tok for Arabic. CableCheck translate di caption wit Google Translate.

“Watch dis video wey dey show as Al-Dagalo militia dey tiff moni from banks and markets,” na so di caption wey dem write for Arabic togeda wit di video tok.

“We bin dey tok sey Al-Dagalo militia na militia wey dey specialize for theft, looting and destruction of resources.”

Di video get 5.6k views.

For di clip, men wey wear camouflage dey show off bundles of moni for bags and trucks, some ontop ground.

CableCheck notice sey di moni for di video no be naira.

According to di narrator, di video show members of Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary group, wey no hapi sake of di kontri decision to change dia currency.

Di RSF, led by Mohamed Dagalo, don dey struggle power wit di national army for state control. Di situation don leave hundreds of thousands dead and thousands displaced.

Since di war start, di RSF don get plenti looting accusations.

Last November, Sudan Central Bank announce di introduction of new banknotes.

Di bank tok sey di aim na to force pipu make dem open bank accounts so dat pipu no go too dey tiff dia moni.

Di RSF criticise di move and dem bin start claims of hidden political agenda.
