Many many online blogs and social media people don dey claim sey the federal government dey plan remove pockets from di uniforms of dem officers of di Nigeria  Police Force (NPF) to tackle bribery.

Di post con too dey with one flyer wey show oga police dey hold SPY police uniform, wey be dem supernumerary police officers.

Di flyer carry di inscription sey: “FG TO REMOVE POCKETS FROM POLICE UNIFORMS TO TACKLE BRIBERY, SAYS FG”.

One X user wey be @ekwulu, posted di flyer with caption: “Who is thinking for these guys?”

Di post don get over 90 reposts, 25 quotes, and 236 likes.

“Is it that they don’t know how to tackle the main issue or they just want to distract the populace?” na so one person comment.

“Suppose they decide to deploy POS for instant bribe payment? POS is bigger than all pockets. Hope after removing the pockets they will deploy CCTV cameras in all police officers offices from the rank of ASP to IGP for equity reasons,” another X user write for the post.

A Facebook page wey carry di name “News in Naija” join body post di viral claim.

“You can’t beat Nigeria Police at all as they will get another means for keeping their proceeds from their illegal activities. They can start keeping the bribe in their Shoes or even underwear just to make sure that they are safe,” a Facebook user comment for the post too.

“They’ll still purchase POS machine let’s bet,” a Facebook user con write.
