FIFA sponsor di project through im “Forward Programme”, wey dey provide beta funding and support for football development projects all over di world.

Di stadium na one of two projects wey dey funded under di initiative. Di oda project folo be mini stadium for Ugborodo, Delta state.

TALANTA SPORTS STADIUM FOR KENYA

Di stadium go fit take at least 60,000 spectators once dem complete am. Di Kenyan government fully fund di project and dem give di contract to China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC).

According to The Times Kenya, local newspaper, Talanta Sports City Stadium “go cost taxpayer Sh44.7 billion,” around $344.5 million.

Di project cost bin dey inside document wey Soipan Tuya, cabinet secretary, presented give di kontri legislative committee on sports and culture for April.
